Module 2: Safety and Health of Welders Powerpoint

In this virtual lecture, Michael discusses Module 2: Safety and Health of Welders. This video corresponds with Module 2 in your textbook covering the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) guidelines and regulations. In this Module you will learn about the safety precautions used in welding due to the various injuries welding poses on an operator or colleague. Safety is the utmost importance in the welding shop and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for welding and cutting will help prevent most all injuries. Also, common sense goes along way when working with welding and fabrication equipment. If something looks questionable or you are not sure of something, please ask a supervisor for clarification and help.
